I'm old enough to remember back when china invaded vietnam in '79. The gooks were fighting the chinks using a lot of hardware the us.mil left there back in 1975. 10 F-5's, ten A-37's, seven UH-1s, three UH-7's, and several C-130's, C-119's and C-47's. Assorted US artillery systems.
