KLE500 from '99. Mechanically perfect, only electronics are the headlights and blinkers, everything is accessible with a standard toolkit, spare parts are everywhere given the engine is 30+ years old and used in a number of other Kawasaki models.

I fucking love my bike.

The KLE and KLR are different bikes. KLR is a mono-cylinder (thumper) whereas the KLE is a twin-cylinder. KLE has the GPZ500/ER-5 engine fitted. It's the trail model and perfect for traveling.

I've done many thousands of kilometers for the past year and a half, seen so much beautiful stuff and met some awesome people. It's a real big family this motorbike business, everybody got somebody around to help or chat to. The Transalp is perfect for what I'm doing, you should get out there with it man it'll be worth it, trust me out of the comfort zone is where the best things grow.

And yeah Fortnine is the GOAT.

I was in Charmonix back in summer of 2015. It was awesome. I had really messy hair and wore a fitted baseball cap and was literally the only person with one on.

I was going to the Alps on a tour with Edelweiss tours but the Plandemic hit. Looks beautiful. The Canadian Rockies are my usual choice. I ride a Kawasaki Concours 14. Oh and heated grips and a power windscreen are beautiful.

Heated grips are overrated, only heats your palms... Heated gloves on the other hand are the bee's knees.

Sure heated gloves are nicer but go from heated grips to no heat and they're no longer over rated.

Honestly didn't have any heating on my bike for hands, body or feet for budgets reasons and I can tell you it was more than painful a lot of the time. Plain old layers don't cut it and I had to go through stretches of numbness in my hands just to overcome the cold.

Just thinking about it makes me think I'm a fucking nutter.
