Youre right! Christianizm spoiled paganizm. Then again, my belief is that these buildings, cathedrals were made with holy geometry in mind, and utilized harmonic frequencies to instill a heightened spiritual state in human beings, certain musics were also used to heal and comfort.
Religion just coopted it and went hurr durr (m.youtube.com) and in the prosess slowly but surely made us forget our Pristine Origins.
