If your gun is less than 16" it can fit in a large satchel. If it's less than 20" or maybe up to 23" they make bags like this -

Both could let you walk down ie any crowded place, to have an example - mall, airport, restaurant - with no one having enough suspicion to ask you to stop etc.

I keep my .38 in an ankle holster incase I get disarmed from my main weapon. This is a carry state so my .45 is at my right hip.

I have a bag for my stribog that is the same design except it is for pickleball and looks more sporty. It also fits my dolos at with law tactical stock

Put take down pins on your AR and just break it in half while your moving it around. Almost all of them will fit in a medium sized backpack if you do that.

An 'AK Pistol' with foldable 'stock' makes great for a great concealable < 23" gun that can be fired as quick as you and get to it. And some of those bags allow for like 5 seconds gun to target in a surprise scenario and like 2-3 seconds concealed gun to target in an expectant scenario. And the bag also provides body armor as it ends up over your chest.
