Big bushy Santa beard. He caught about an 18" lake trout. Didn't say much, just enjoying the peace.

You out by beuna vista? Lake looks promising for catching fishes. Had great luck with rainbows this weekend with black and yellow rebel with 2 marshmallows balls on the treble hook. Rainbows were very hungry and ferocious attacking lures and pulling hard good luck and enjoy

Good call! We went up to Aspen yesterday, over Independence Pass. (Well, the grotto/ice cave area anyway, trying to avoid cities for the next week.)

That is a drive everybody should make at least once!

Was there by grottos the weekend. Definitely nice drive in that area. Enjoy it. Arkansas River is biting good as well. Aspen fishing is premium currently as well. Twin lakes aren't huge and ain't deep but rainbows going crazy

Surprising how similar it looks to a lot of the lakes in East Tennessee, minus the bald peaks.

Im up in Yukon right now and while Whitehorse is full of globalization failures the rest of the province is White and Inuit. Anyway there's plent of room to not have to deal with front rangers and all their 'sending'. Lots and lots of quiet.
