Haven't been to Mississippi myself as this is a stolen pic but that area seems very familiar to inland South Carolina which is quite pretty.

SC is pretty as well but maybe I didn't make it far inland for the pine forests because most that I visited were a bit swampy. De Soto is at an interesting line as it can be dry and arid and then a bit wet.
