Yeah, my bitch mother thought the same about my comic book collection, and pitched them out. Batman #3 sold for thousands of dollars, and that was just one of a couple hundred I had, that would be considered rare today.

I hope you can see the difference between classic comics and plastic trash from China like this (archive.ph).

Could it be worth something in 50 years? Maybe, but I'm sure there are better places to park your money.
