That's a common misconception. This is why technology is required. There exist an abundance of evidence advanced technology was involved. That's the problem. Far too many people are content with historical revisionism and misconceptions that the solution is simply more people or animals. Yet even basic investigation confirms this is simply not so.
There are guys on YT that move gigantic cement blocks and boulders around with simple levers and rollers. I linked one a few days ago. Stacking rocks ain't THAT complicated. Principles of leverage can help. 'Give me a lever and a place to stand, and I will move the world'.
Yes, I've seen him. That's not how it works. Foolish people like him fail to take into account the mass involved. This is where the argument of more men and animals also fails as you can't apply enough leverage over a small enough area to allow the available materials to function.
With 100% certainty, that's not how it was done.
BTW, my context is not just the pyramids. It's all of the ancient megalithic ruins. In each case, the populations to which they are attributed are almost never claimed by those people. For example, look at the Romans. They don't actually claim much of these structures. And you can in fact directly observe what they did build on top of what was already there. Very distinct differences.
As with stupidbird, I encourage you to explore more on the topic. Every decade or some mainstream parades some idiot and idiot's theory on "that's how they did it." Every decade or so, it's confirmed that's absolutely not how they did it. In fact, the latest pop culture notion is they floated all the rocks into place because they now admit the reality that they didn't pivot the rocks there. Hopefully your eyes are rolling.
Which brings us back to the original on topic point. Only a technologically advanced people could have build these ancient ruins. It wasn't just any Tom, Dick, and Harry come lately who did it. This ignores the overwhemling evidence of advanced technology such as power saws and fully symmetrical "carving" technology, which we didn't have until CNC technology arrived.
You find, once you stop listening to the pop culture gate keepers, everything you believe about this technology becomes obvious bullshit. Again, I invite you to research more
I don't know who built all that shit, and don't really care. But aliens were not necessary to stack rocks, people did that.
