It's the same premise of earning a degree. You may learn whatever skill conceptually, but if you don't have experience or any drive to apply that knowledge you'll forget it all.

To be honest, it works. I've seen and done worse myself to keep a car going, or cuz I couldnt afford it

Could probably pass inspection too. It's a mirror, on the side, that lets you see cars behind.

Common mistake

Im pretty sure that passenger side mirror is not even required

As a few examples Kansas Illinois and New Jersey don't require it

California now does

Some States forgive you if your car is old enough, which makes sense since many cars didn't even come with them. 1984 civic comes to mind.

I have done field repairs way worse than that one.

Plus the way things are today, the correct part may be n backorder for 6 -12 months
