In the past 3 years I've had to replace both front wheel bearings. When I had the second done three of the lugs looked very much like this. I'm driving an '09 Kia with over 200k on odometer. Regular maintenance is very important.

Oh yeah, I will definitely be checking my lug nuts more often!
