I hope this isn't too expensive. Both Wheels need to be replaced because the holes are all hogged out and the studs as well. This picture is with the inside wheel still in place.

That yours? I had that happen to me once when someone tried to steal my rims but got stopped by the wheel key. They didn't re-tighten the other lugnuts though.

Yes, that was my Friday afternoon. Sitting on the side of the road.

In the past 3 years I've had to replace both front wheel bearings. When I had the second done three of the lugs looked very much like this. I'm driving an '09 Kia with over 200k on odometer. Regular maintenance is very important.

Oh yeah, I will definitely be checking my lug nuts more often!

How does their jingle go?

"You'll probably die in a KIA..."

What wheel bearing noises

[–] 0 pt

It's kind of a weird oscillating noise while you are driving. Like your tires are dragging a little bit. Kind of a metal on metal sound. I don't know if I can come up with a worse description if I tried! You might be able to find a video on YouTube or something

Never mind. Somebody temporarily changed your headline to "aren't hearing a wheel bearing noise"
