When I was checking out and going to my separation activity, they were having GMTs about how the Navy would incorporate civil unions as they repeal DADT. I didn't even see that one coming, but that was a damn good time to leave. I still had to attend the GMT, but the entire time, I was baffled at the change of standards after 6 years of service. 10 years later, the wheels are coming off.
