When I lived in San Diego, I'd shop and dine in Tijuana. Classiest restaurant I'd ever seen and prices were rock bottom. Two lobster dinners with the wife plus drinks came to about $13. Antibiotics were a buck a bottle without prescriptions. Everything in every shop was dirt cheap. My wife bought some gorgeous clothes. Haggle on the street and in smaller shops, not in the nice big stores. I loved it and never felt in danger there.
