Actually you wouldn't. There are tons of Indians (dot, not feather) who live in the Okanagan Valley on the Canada side and thus lots of Indian restaurants. On the US side there are several Mexican restaurants because of all the migrant fruit pickers. There is also an Asian restaurant as well.

The area really does look like that though....it's incredible.

I live in keremeos BC and was contemplating the mechanics as I watched the sunset go down on the bottom of the clouds a couple nights ago. This pic doesnt even capture what it looked like. The mountains and dry landscape can really get quite picturesque out here
