Myth: Nuclear Energy is dirty. Frequently the “smoke stacks” at nuclear plants are thought to be billowing harmful emissions into the atmosphere. In fact, the white “smoke” you see rising out of nuclear plants is actually steam, and the stacks are cooling towers.
