Pretty much all of the gear they have in this photo is directly from US military.

I think only one of those rifles originated in that region, the guy standing to picture-left of center seated man.

All some variant of AR. 20 years ago, these guys didn't have this kind of shit.

People should be seriously questioning how the fuck these guys got all of this gear. It's not just rifles- they have dozens of our vehicles. Wouldn't surprise me to find out they have several of our tanks or helicopters.

They seized tons of equipment abandoned by the Afghan security forces & US Military. They have lots of armored vehicles, tanks and possibly some aircraft.

Probably piloted by men that our forces trained, and then deserted to join the Taliban.

They keep using this figure of 80,000 men for the Taliban- I believe that to be a severe underestimation (or intentionally misleading) figure. A force of 80,000 fighting men requires a significant number of auxiliary support people- someone is herding their goats for them to eat, someone is informing on their enemy's movements, etc..

Then you have civilians who sympathize with them- they should all just be counted among the Taliban. That's probably the majority of Afghans who just want a return to normality, to go back to doing their work and worshiping their god and forget the nightmare that "the (((West)))" unleashed upon them. And if 80,000 of these guys are willing to continue the fight and try to take it to the powers that have been fucking them for the last two decades, that's great in their book.

Well the difference being they wouldn’t hold back against us. If you don’t think they would nuke the countryside or firebomb the suburbs, you’re out of your mind. Will do whatever Biden’s puppets tell them to do.
