Yeah it's not private property so you really don't have a right to drive a car through it. You have a license to and I'm totally in favor of not giving licenses to humans if AI is many times better. If you want to drive a car then do it on your own land.
I'm not sure you understand the ramifications of forcing AI piloted vehicles are.. or maybe you're being sarcastic.
What happens when the Alphabet agencies determine your a threat to their agenda/narrative?
You do realize that these future vehicles will come with the capability to be remotely disabled right? Vehicles equipped with OnStar today can already be remotely disabled.

Why would the government agencies need to control AI driving cars to get me? If they can get into any system they want then they can already find you or me through our phones and plant CP on it or whatever, then bust in and take us out.
Restricting movement is more effective than taking you out. Especially when it can be done with a few keyboard strokes and mouse clicks.
You can drive your car all you want as long as it isn't on government property.
