I've said this for years now, but once driverless cars are improved to an acceptable standard we'll be defending our rights to own non-AI driven vehicles just as we are trying to defend firearm ownership.

Except we don't have an amendment acknowledging our right to drive vehicles.

Yeah it's not private property so you really don't have a right to drive a car through it. You have a license to and I'm totally in favor of not giving licenses to humans if AI is many times better. If you want to drive a car then do it on your own land.

What happens when the Alphabet agencies determine your a threat to their agenda/narrative?

You do realize that these future vehicles will come with the capability to be remotely disabled right? Vehicles equipped with OnStar today can already be remotely disabled.

Why would the government agencies need to control AI driving cars to get me? If they can get into any system they want then they can already find you or me through our phones and plant CP on it or whatever, then bust in and take us out.
