Looks like beginning of a rainbow to me

Just a glare/reflection on the road that is lined up (from the point of view of the camera) with the rainbow. That rainbow is far away. When you are close to one (like what happens in Hawaii) the rainbows appear much larger and you can very easily see the transitions between colors.

rainbows are actually full circles, end of the rainbow is the joke

Either way the rainbow appears to end at the road with a golden sparkle.
