Actually that's not why I deleted it. For some reason, the image stays the same. Basically I have a different image that I uploaded on Pic8, but it keeps using the old image , which is why I kept recreating the post (because I wanted to use the new image). So the reason you saw different titles was because I thought it was stuck in cache, so I tried to cache-bust it by deleting the post and recreating it using different titles. Didn't work. Oh well... fuckit. In other words, the updated image I wanted as the main one is in the comments, yet when I add it as a new post (catbox version), it still uses the other one (jssocial version). Weird. So that's the story.
Ok, makes sense.
are the two images you're uploading similar?
for example, if the one image the same as the other, just a higher/lower quality version of the image?
Yes very similar, BUT, I don't think it's even a pic8 problem. I believe it's a poal issue.
1) I uploaded the image on pic8 and pic8 gave me a jssocial url. 2) I created the post on poal 3) I deleted the post on poal because i realized i used an older version of image. 4) I went back to pic8 and uploaded newer version. 5) Pic8 gave me a catbox link now. Looked at catbox link and it's the version i want. 6) I went back to poal and recreated post, yet the post is still using the jssocial url for the image. 7) I deleted the post and recreated it again with different title and put the catbox link directly, still, poal is using the jssocial url.
So this is why I'm assuming its a poal cache issue. Don't really know what else to make of it.
The 4 posts you've made (3 are deleted now) are all linking to the same URL.
You probably got confused with your tabs and copypasted the same old pic8 short link every time you tried to post.
It's not a poal cache issue. Poal doesn't cache image links.
Please post both the old and new pic8 short links here.
