The flipper babies from Canada were before canada was canada.

Canadian flag, featuring the maple leaf, debuted in 1965 !

In 1982, Canada adopted its own constitution and became a completely independent country. 1982!

But yeah, I guess some european colonies got caught up in thanlidomide.

Actually, the Queen of England is also the Queen of Canada, and all of our laws still have to be signed by her representative, the Governor General, so our "independence" remains only ceremonial at best.

That said, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms is at least partially enforced. For example, prostitution became legal in Canada after the entire section of the criminal code was ruled as discrimination based on sex, which was true, and it got tossed.

Now you can order a prostitute like ordering a pizza. They deliver.

Not sure what the Queen thinks about that, but her country gets to tax it.

And no hooker pays taxes. Just part of the delusion that canada was going to be a pimp and merchandise poor women for profit.

They can take their kids into foster care though, and create a lifetime of therapeutic garbage psychology based programs the tax payer will pay.

Love having such super smart people running that golem factory called canada?

The hooker thing is a work in progress. It's a feminist agenda item, so it gets lots of government support.

How do you stand living in Canada with everything that's been going on? Do you want to get out? So curious how free-thinkers survive oppressive Western countries. I can't even stand California and I'll be out by next year.

That's a very good question, and the only answer I have is another good question... go where?

There is nowhere left to go. America has fallen, the last line of freedom.

So now we enter the dark ages, again. I expect many will not survive.

I did move out to the countryside, with clean food and water, a 99% white community. I highly recommend it. I should have done this twenty years ago. It's very relaxing here. Honest hard working people. Families. Pickup trucks, children and dogs.

The important part right now is to get out of the big cities. They become death traps all too easily. Find a smaller town, several hours away from any major urban center. You need a hospital, supermarkets, dentists, hardware stores, etc, but also clean water and local food. Farmers. Tourists. There's plenty of employment. Worker shortage actually. Land is much cheaper. Resources abundant. Think 10,000 to 30,000 people. That's the sweet spot right there.
