All he admits is that he converted to Judaism at age 9 in his own writings. He may have been genetically part jew, or no-jew, but to escape russia many people (not himself) pretended to be Jews because of emigration programs out of Russia for so-called "Russian Jews". He was born in USA, but for whatever reason (maybe mother remarried a Jew?) He converted from a non-religious designation to actual real Judaism , orthodox, at age 9 and so did his sister at the time. He wears his jew beanie every single hour when outdoors in public ever since. Its the color of his hair, but you can spot it if you look in all known video interviews and images.
