Grow up. You have the perspective of a child. 7k when per week in a population of 68 million is normal fluctuations in an aging population.

7k additional deaths per week above average, at its peak more than doubling all other forms of death in the country combined.

And you think this is insignificant?

The normal fluctuations are even highlighted in the graph, which you have clearly not understood.
