They advertise all other drugs.
I can't remember where I heard it from so I can't prove it, but I remember hearing something about vaccines being different from other drugs as far as advertising. That's why instead of commercials for vaccines, you have "product placement" in the form of news stories about health issues and promotions for getting your flu shot and a gift card for free. I could be wrong.
I have seen ads from Walgreens and CVS to get vaccines but I have never seen vaccine manufacturer advertising their actual vaccine products.
It makes some sense at a pharmacy. I notice those ads can arguably be advertising the service as opposed to the product.
