There was a ledge like that where I live... In a span of a couple hours I saw a couple cars get stuck. No one put up a sign or anything.
A guy at a store where I shopped tried to get into the next lot over a place like this. Fortunately there was a bunch of bricks nearby so I helped jack up the car and make him a ramp.
This was at a picnic stop but luckily for the lady there was a guy with a truck parked there and he was about to pull her out when I pulled up to take this picture. I was in a hurry so I didn't see him pull her out but I imagine the underside of her car was a bit scratched.
