True about cats eating them. I wish they wouldn't and I would try to save an alligator lizard if a cat got one.

We have to rescue these little guys all the time in the fall, when they start getting cold and slow. I guess they're safe and hibernating now.
Sometimes we even have to rescue them in the summer. Kitties are pretty relentless.
