Do not bother trying to interact with them as if they were their own people and not just extensions of their masters. Do not try to change their minds, because they lack minds to change, the best thing to do for them is to destroy or deactivate them and limit the harm they can cause. Stop thinking of them as people, see them for what they are, zombies. You can't kill them, because they already died long ago, you are just stopping them from moving or making noises. When the time comes, this is the mindset you must adopt, they aren't the ones ultimately to blame, but they are vital tools that those who are a fault require to do their evil work, and if you want to get to the bokor, you must first cut a swath through the horde, or the horde will devour you before you can make so much as a nuisance for the forces of darkness. You must first disarm the enemy by taking away their hordes, then you can go for the heads of the beast. Some logic, take out the enemy forces, then go for the comnanders they serve, take away the weapons of the opponent before defeating them, take down the mobs before attacking the boss they are guarding. They aren't human anymore, they just look that way sometimes.
