From several thousand dollar per months sauna "treatments" for sweating out "heavy metals" to shots of vitamins, special diets (actually valuable with fragile x syndrome), parents of autistic children are run through a gauntlet of charlatans grifting every penny and ounce of emotional energy and hope from these unfortunate families.

We make fun of autism "spergs" and autists". Autism can be unbelievably destructive.
