Greatest souls on this planet. Sorry for your loss.
You have no idea. She was there for my wife during cancer and a stroke. I would have paid anything to treat Lilly's cancer, but it was too aggressive

A damn scorpion can live up to 25yrs, but our beloved pups only about half that or so. That just ain’t right.
Sorry for your loss, as @MightyGroo says, greatest souls on this planet.
Thanks
Very. Trying to stay strong for the wife, but fuck man, it's hard.
Awe, bye-bye Lilly. Sorry for your loss man, I swear, losing a beloved pet family member is hard. I don't even like to call them "pets". They are family members.
Sweet girl. Best friend.
So sorry for your loss. Lilly was deeply loved and she looks like she had a kind soul. You gave her a good home.
Thanks
Having a dog will bless you with many of the happiest days of your life... and then one of the worst.
If I could be half the person my dog is, I'd be twice the human I am.
I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm glad you had such a good friend.
its so hard to lose a loved one, dogs are the best. hope you find peace <3 do you intend on adopting in the future?
It's complicated. Yeah, I'm sure we will eventually. But my wife raises quail and chickens in the house at times, so we need something that isn't prey driven
oh dang, that is a bit complicated. my two dogs gave me an inside look at nature vs nurture. One dog i got and i tried to train her not to eat chickens but she's an Australian kelpie and i wasnt a good enough trainer to keep her prey drive under control. her prey drive is so high she cant stand having a second dog in the house, theyre sorta pals now.
the second dog is a mutt mixed between a lab and i think a livestock guardian type dog. I put nearly no effort into her training. neighbor's chickens got into our yard and she just sat calm as could be just staring at them from a distance. that was crazy to me.
I guess i'm not sure my point, but finding the right dog is tricky. hopefully the timing is right and a good stray dog wanders into your life one day if youre ever ready for another
Nah, I liked your story. No point needed. Finding a good fit is always hard. We knew Lilly was the one because she peed on my shoe in the Shelter. Couldn't say no to that
She looks like an angel. She'll get lots of cookies up there. So sorry for your loss.
Sorry for the loss of mans most loyal companion. Green meadows forever..Lilly
My heart just broke a little bit. Sorry for your loss, man.
Thank you
