The 23rd Judicial District Attorney's Office said in a news release Friday that Jorge Alberto Campos, 42, was sentenced to 100 years to life in prison after being found guilty of five counts of sexual assault on a child as part of a pattern of abuse. A Douglas County jury convicted Campos in March of repeatedly assaulting his girlfriend's daughter from 2021-2023 in their home. The abuse began when the victim was 11 years old, the release said said.
