John Michael Beccia Jr., 35, of Highlands Ranch, was arrested on Wednesday, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said. Beccia worked in the Douglas County School District's Nutrition Services as an assistant kitchen manager at Mountain Vista High School starting in November 2025, the sheriff's office said. The high school says he is no longer employed by the school district.

If I homeschool how will my kids learn how to socialize?

Like all homeschoolers. You find other parents that do the same thing and arrange "learning pods" (I guess that is the new phrase for it). Just look at how kids were taught on ranches and farms ~100 years ago. Every farm/ranch had their own very small schoolhouse and the teacher(s) would live on the farm/ranch for a period of time before moving to the next farm/ranch. You took your kids to your neighbors for the day at whoever's place had the teacher at the time.

I know you were joking but yeah.. This is the way.
