Discord had a problem with a furry pedo and "cub" art maybe 5 years ago...there was so much noise that the person got removed from the trust and safety team.
I used that service a little up to that point, but noped the fuck out when that happened.
Discord still has a disgusting community of trannies who lure kids and convince them to become trannies. Pretty sure it's tired into reddit as well.
Always remember that an ADMIN on discord, a paid employee of the service, passed info that doxxed right wing activists on the west coast. Gave their IP and location info to antifa who then waged a harassment campaign.
It's not a service to use seriously. If you do need to use it, (since so many lazy companies are moving their support operations there) only do so in a private browser with a VPN.
If a company uses that for support, I don't buy their product.
No shit. If a company told me to use discord for support I would never buy anything from them again, tell everyone I know then name and shame them.
Discord is fucking stupid for 99% of use cases.
