Why does Ron DeSantis allow NUDE BEACHES at publicly-funded state parks in Florida, where naked adults can run around with naked children of ANY age? Kinda strange for a guy who claims to be so concerned about “protecting kids.”

Just a thought: Maybe the state’s ban on drag shows that allow children to attend was NOT really about “protecting kids” after all.

I'm not exactly sure what you expect him to do. Hell, I agree with you that he should keep trying to shut it down. I just don't see how.

These people are retarded to focus on the governor instead of on the parents bringing their kids there. They need to pressure the senators and congressmen of those districts. Retards think the governor is a dictator or king that can change all the laws single handed.

Some people think 1 guy can change everything. Very delusional. The guy tried and was thwarted cuz some constituents like nude beaches.

Well he can stop funding to the park. That's 100% within his power. "Lose the nude beach or stay closed forever." Public parks are no place for nude beaches anyway. Period!

He could introduce legislation. "He tried one time" is not an excuse.

He could draft an exective order. Which, in Florida, does not require legislative approval but instead is bound by the Administrative Procedure Act.

He has lots of options. His inaction proves he's an enabler.

True, he can ask the legislature to stop funding state parks. Plenty of part are county-funded. Also, the FL legislature is not nearly as 'conservative' as you'd think.

I did not say he tried one time. I said that if I remembered correctly, he tried to get the legislature to do it. I don't know how hard or how many times.

If true, this would be the best way for him to remove state funding to parks that allow nudity in front of children. I'm surprised none of his handlers thought if this. It's all about the optics for them. I'd have to look into it, but you could very well be correct.
