That's why I asked the question:
Why not a Republican president and a Democrat vice president.
Checks and balances
I'd also introduce a performance review of the promises they made to the people pre election.
This would be a panel of the people not the elite chosen by the elite to critique the competency of the current president.
It'd be a lotto type selection where as any citizen could be selected to be part of the panel. It would take place prior to the primaries and it'd give the American people a real time indication of how that president is working for the people.
If the president is deemed incompetent we the people would have the immediate right to impeach and have the vice president taken over interim. This would also work visa versa in the event the president was a Democrat.
All presidents going forward while taking the oath will be presented with a list of promises they intended to keep before God and We The People.
If they fail to make good on any of the promises towards the end of their presidency they'll be removed and tried in court.
We The People vs. Current president find (name) did not uphold their duty to the nation and under oath and will be required to pay back any income derived from this presidency and given back to the people or be jailed for (whatever time we vote on).
And end the oath with We The People grant you this privilege to represent the people and with this oath to God and country pronounce you President of the United States of America.
Something like that they need to be held accountable like anyone at any job would.
I like where that is going. Really good in theory. But how to establish that kinda system? Difficult to implement because of how far along we are on the corruption train.
I've been thinking on the solution quite deeply with a couple buddies but in order to write a proper rebuttal I would have to discuss this with them and write it down. Their main concern is that writing it down would result in its failure because of AI's or spies farming data to dispose of any plans fighting against communism/socialism
