Bullshit. Image recognition is basic ML application. Well studied, highly robust. Ever heard of models like YOLO? That shit came out like 5 years ago.
The feds have busted massive cp sites on the tor network. They would have a MASSIVE dataset of cp images and video that could be used to train some of the most sophisticated cp detection models in existence. They could. They don't. Because they like it.
I have a moral dilemma with that. The feds own massive amounts of CP. They can use that data set to train their ML models to better prevent sharing of it. All like you said.

Yeah sure, I agree. But that is beside my point. The feds only shut down sites that they don't own, or doesn't serve the interest of their masters.
