Do we know for sure that the 3 prisoners murdered him because of his charges? Some people are able to keep their charges hidden or lie about them. It could also be possible that he just had some kind of dispute with the 3 killers.

However, the amount of work that went into the killing, the fact that 3 men were involved, sort of indicates a hit. They came prepared with knives, beat the piss out of him and then worked together to dunk him down the steps, they wanted to make certain he was dead.

Prison drama is fucking ridiculous, if you ever watch those shows about prison life or youtube prison shit, it's like a bunch of women with muscles and bad attitudes living together in tight quarters. They bicker and fight and kill over the most absurd shit.
