He'd be toast in the court of public opinion. And as far as being prosecuted, I don't know the laws, but I doubt simply meeting with a minor is a crime, though it looks damning.

Sounds about right to me. I think it'd be a funny episode of To Catch a Predator though. The film crew is trying to goad some sperg into saying or planning something illegal, but he really is just there for some food and a show, and no adults would agree to go with him so he made friends with a kid instead
