So thats exactly what you're doing. Implying Gaetz is innocent because Greenberg made up a story about someone else. Ignoring the payments gaetz made ignoring the fact Gaetz is implicated because of info found on Greenbergs laptop.
Funny that you're going to such lengths and such mental gymnastics to someone exonerate a guy who paid a child for sex. All because he has an R next to his name. If he had a D next to his name you'd want him hung.
There is no evidence of any such payments. That's daily beast unsources, unproven claims that have been denied by Gaetz.
Further, if all that Gaetz did was pay for a hooker, that isn't even newsworthy.
And yes, if you have to plead guilty to committing a crime involving false allegations about sex with a minor, you are no longer credible to make those same allegations about anyone else. Zero credibility, especially if there is no one else making those same accusations, including the alleged victim.
And as for R vs D, this wouldn't even be a story if Gaetz had a D next to his name, even if the allegations were true and the victim, herself, had photographs. Look at Clinton. Look at Biden. Clinton has clearly raped children, yet nothing.
There was evidence of payment, you just ignored it. Gaetz paid Greenberg who forwarded that money to the underage girls. He didn't just pay for a hooker, he paid for an underage girl to cross state lines for sex.
