I see his point and I don't think it's wrong but I don't think it's 100% right either. Just spending time together, being there day in and day out for your kids is important but the quality of the time or some of the time is important too. I read something once about not being able to force quality time and that has truth to it as well and would support the authors claims. Sometimes you need to make time and plan quality time, more often you just need to be around for it to happen organically.
