I’m a Senior Software Engineer working remotely from Rajkot, Gujarat — yes, the same India where these IT service companies operate. I did my bachelors from a tier-3 local college here (Marwadi University). Not IIT. Not NIT. A regular college that nobody outside Gujarat has heard of. Then I did my masters in Canada, and today I work for a US-based startup, building production-grade software to Silicon Valley standards.
