They’re following a Git/GitHub tutorial video by some pajeeta channel named “Apna College”. The video’s instructions tell them to fork Express.js on GitHub, make a useless edit to the readme, then submit it as a pull request to the main project. Pajeets keep finding this tutorial and blindly following it. The woman who owns the channel refuses to update the video to fix the instructions and she even deletes comments that warn people to not make the useless PR.
I will not link to the tutorial video because that would only give it more views and further boost it on YouTube listings.
Some have suggested mass reporting the video for abusive content. That might work.
The Express.js maintainers already have a GitHub action that automatically rejects these PRs, but . They also get notifications for all the comments people make on the closed PRs complaining to the pajeets, so don’t try to help by doing that.
Someone on X 18+ year olds should know better than to follow instructions like these.
18+ year old White people, maybe. Pajeets need to be sequestered into their own sandbox environment so they can’t pollute the rest of the internet.
