Patels are your stereotypical Indians. They're the street shitters you see most often in the US and UK. In India, they're mostly farmers but there are so many of them they've been invading the west as much as possble. (And bringing their shit with them.)

They are rapidly expanding into the liquor store business too, and have their own card processing . Actually they may have more than one, because on occasion I've seen "PatelPay" on the card machines. Function wasn't seamless and required more action on the merchant's part too. Looked sus to me, so made mental notes not to visit those places again.
