I started listening to them when their first album, Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, came out. Ar first it was curiosity at a very different sound than anything else at the time. As they started progressing their sound, it just got so much more interesting. By the time Dark Side came out, I saw them do that tour and was probably one of the best concerts I remember. But as Waters pretty much took over and started his indepth social agenda with Animals I lost a little interest, but Gilmour's artistry has always been something that has keep me interested. I hold him in the same respect I have for SRV and their ability to express so much emotion through their playing.
