Oh okay, I guess I missed it. I hate caffeine pills, they're horrible (and I hate panic attacks).
The pills in the song were some sort of sedative muscle relaxers. Back then you could easily overdose on them.

I've done a lot of crazy shit, but this scared the hell out of me. Still made it through the work day. Worst part was long drives in-between jobs. Just had to get out and move to work it out.
