I remember the first time I heard of Pink Floyd. It was 1972, I walked in to a party, the room was a haze of pot smoke, people were glassy-eyed and mesmerized by the 'music', and I thought "what is this crap they're listening to?". Half hour and a couple of beers and several joints later I'm like "this is the greatest band ever!".
