But several hours later, a song from King Crimson’s Court of the Crimson King is posted. This was one of the albums my Project Bluebird / Artichoke CIA associates had me listen to repeatedly, after the phase of being locked in a footlocker for hours on end, after the other stuff. Connection: Stephen King’s works The Stand and The Dark Tower book series are part of his “attempt to write a modern Lord of the Rings.” Sorry, Stephen: not remotely close. But the primary villain of The Dark Tower series is The Crimson King. Freaky! That I was 5.5 years old at the time of first listening to this album and am 55 years old now (1 Jubilee), I will also take as a coincidence, although curious indeed.
