Curious that this was posted 2 hours ago, considering that I had thought about this album

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mHkZCO6NVyo

some 5 hours ago, while responding to some matter involving my (unknown to me) origin.

I do not suspect anything more than synchronicity.

But there is some significance somehow.

Here were the posts that brought the thought about (sans context):

::: ::: :::

Western marriage is a contract between a man and Satan, as well as between a woman and the Prophets of Sodom.

Sodomites do not own your bodies, nor any manifestation of Satan your souls; and no religious hierarchy has authority over the survival and sanity and sexuality of your wives and offspring.

The Ring of Power must be destroyed!

It is altogether evil!

UwU.

::: ::: :::

It’s complicated.

Something to do with why the greatest English scholar in history took time off during WWII to doodle a book, while my father, who laid canvas for backdrops at 20th Century Fox, was frozen on the job to lay canvas for the wings of airplanes, from the Corsair to Northrop’s Flying Wing (eventually becoming the Stealth Bomber).

Something to do with Operation Valkyrie.

Like me.

::: ::: :::

The lack up upvote on the last response indicates to me that the OP had no idea whereof we spake.

No biggie. But several hours later, a song from King Crimson’s Court of the Crimson King is posted. This was one of the albums my Project Bluebird / Artichoke CIA associates had me listen to repeatedly, after the phase of being locked in a footlocker for hours on end, after the other stuff.

Connection: Stephen King’s works The Stand and The Dark Tower book series are part of his “attempt to write a modern Lord of the Rings.” Sorry, Stephen: not remotely close. But the primary villain of The Dark Tower series is The Crimson King.

Freaky!

That I was 5.5 years old at the time of first listening to this album and am 55 years old now (1 Jubilee), I will also take as a coincidence, although curious indeed.

Thank yous for listening to our catharsis.

I can assure you it was indeed a coincidence. I don't lurk on youtube, only use it as a resource. I constantly have "my" songs pop into my head, sometimes triggered by a comment or event irl, but this just starting playing in my head today.

Fripp took forever before he would release his early work to the internet and it was greatly appreciated. I'm not a huge fan of progressive rock but enjoy it's jazz-influenced complexities.

You do seem to have a lot going on in your life.
