You always pick the best songs COF. This is such an underrated tune.

Glad you liked it. As life goes on songs take on a different meaning for me. I'm nearing my time and reflecting back on all the music I've loved. That's what is great about music, it ignores time and stands on its own giving pleasure and comfort.

Absolutely. This was released around 15 years before I was born and it impacted me when I first heard it as a teenager buying thrift store records, and continues to effect me meaningfully today.

The man with a thousand voices is keeping perfectly still.

Who is that guy?

The White Album was great, I was about 14 years old I think, brother played it all the time.

I've read they wrote the song with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in mind, during the time they spent with him. But as many songwriters have said, the listener is free to apply whatever meaning it has for them. What a long strange trip it's been.

Yes, I've heard things like that also. (Dear Prudence, Sexy Sadie.)

The 'paul is dead' conspiracy people say it's the imposter, talking about himself.

It’s talking about how Paul is dead.

It’s another flat earth song as well.

Thanks for posting this song, I'd never heard it before since I rarely listen to the Beatles because I hate 99% of every song they've ever done. Now that percentage is 99.3%. Thanks!
