ISIS - Celestial (The Tower)

I'm guessing years later they regretted the choice of band name.

Haven't heard of them before.

I just picked a track randomly on youtube called - Exercises In Futility V, and it's already doing it for me.

Cheers Bro. What album by them would you recommend getting forst?

Exercises in Futility V is hands down one of the most impressive drum tracks I’ve ever heard. I’m gonna grab you a link to the drum cam footage of Darkside, their drummer...ps, he also plays with his face covered! It is fucking INSANE. These dudes are a black metal band from Poland. Pronounced “Mig-Wuh”. As far as a full album goes, please check out ‘With Hearts Towards None’. Just listen through WITHOUT SHUFFLE. So so good!!!!! 🤘🏼 https://youtu.be/wcsTJ1n2jkE

Thanks man! Been years since I got a new metal album. I just decided to post some old tunes from back in the day as I've freshly signed up to Poal. (Yeah, I'm a Voat Refugee). Any other band recommends would be welcome. Keep on rockin' in the free world brother!

Cool—I’m a Voat refugee also. Ehhhh, for me, you cannot go wrong with anything that High on Fire has done. Another band I truly dig is Municipal Waste. They do a style that’s called “crossover thrash” but to me it’s just good, old sounding thrash with a modern twist and fun lyrics. Two more notables are Conan (caveman doom) and YOB. I started getting back into metal a few years ago and am lucky enough to live close to Chicago to see all these bands play live. Cheers, and keep that metal perpetually playing!
