I can understand that but I also enjoy hearing the music without them. I frequently can hear parts I didn't notice before and appreciate the skills that much more. The opposite is true also, isolated vocals are sometimes surprising when you hear them without the music.

Although that one was a rehearsal of the whole band, when he records a track on his own, usually with his wife now, he strives for an exact replication. He will use the same guitar, amp, and effects pedals used in the original studio recording and his track will be within 1 second of the album version.

Your obviously a much more connoisseur than I. I just enjoy the moment. Im not saying that wasnt an amazing true to the original recording though.

Lol, I don't think "connoisseur" applies but I do enjoy picking apart tracks and listening how they're put together. Back when I used to play I spent a lot of time behind the glass and took a couple years in college taking studio recording techniques. I just find the whole process interesting although the technology and my ears don't allow me to do much anymore. I guess it's like any passion people have, you quickly notice the details of whatever you're into.

Connoisseur definition is - expert; especially : one who understands the details, technique, or principles of an art and is competent to act as a critical judge

I agree to disagree if you insist. I just know what I like when I hear it, dont dissect it.
