They're not my genre but I did recognize them and the song. I imagine they're doing the casino circuit now.

I remember when I first heard G&R, was going home late one night and KLOL in houston played them, I knew shit was changing again. Like when Nirvana came out, and when KoRn did.

I pretty much let that era, and since, pass me by. I know, and enjoy, a very few of that time. We seem to each have a window of place and time when music sticks in our souls. Being the language of emotion it gets pretty personal, which is good. It'd be pretty damn boring if we all liked the same.

Its your loss. I was raised old but have appreciated new. Now Im waiting for something fuckin good to come out again, not holding my breath though. I really didnt start seeing shit live until late 80's 90's. Yeah I was usually oldest onr there, I remember headbanging to limp biskit and looking beside me. Dude was like 15, we looked at each other and paused then continued on.

I was booking Korn at my club when nirvana came out. They were decent guys, but they really didn't have much draw yet back then.

Yeah nirvana was before koRn. I got an advance copy of theirs from a dude who was friends with the deftones. I played that shit on the way to a G&R concert and knew things had changed, my wife at the time didnt appreciate it at all.

I love them, I just couldn't stand their fans at the time.
